Welcome to John Burnet Hall

Well, I just arrived in St Andrews. I would post a picture of my room's view: a slice of the North Sea and a bit of the Old Course, but I am having trouble locating my memory card reader. After a quick tour around the town, I managed to arrange my things in a suitably orderly way and just finished reading up on all of my responsibilities and opportunities during Freshers' week. I am in a unique position of being a First year(in relation to St Andrews), but also a third year(in relation to age and university experience). I am in a dorm with mostly Freshmen with a higher-than-usual percentage of international students and IR-educated Scots. I should probably go meet them rather than taking the orientation guy's word for it. I'll work on posting a picture.
